Re: UK

I have a similar aim only 365 days for Emerald and it looks like I'm going to miss out on CfCW by about 72 hours crying I've been too busy recently to micro manage else I could have increased my cache before the supply ran dry. Now I have to hope I can pick up enough resends to make up the shortfall. It's not looking good. sad
Ouch... I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

DDDT2 is my main concern... it came and went during my most recent break from crunching, so I have to try and get 180 days in when the next and possibly last rain happens. I'm keeping my eye on the forum and ready to dedicate all resources to is as soon as it happens.

Re: UK

Morning All

Hi themoonscrescent - I wasn't familiar with the Table Tilt Test but Google is my friend... sounds like it was quite intense. I hope it gives you the results you were looking for - apologies, but I don't know the details.

Thankyou, yes it was intense, horrible, I hate it when it happens, atleast now that it has happened under test conditions, proves if nothing else that I haven't lost my mind (I don't think my GP has taken my condition seriously (sorry, condition = Pre - syncopy), I had an extreme bought of vertigo about 2 1/2 years ago, my GP thinks my condition is related to that and will pass on it's own, I know he's wrong but try telling him that... Brick Wall anyone? sad ).

Symptoms for me =:

Feeling sick for several hours before, rising in intensity as time passes (1st signs, thats when I begin to worry, which probably doesn't help matters).

All of a sudden (the following happens literally within a matter of seconds), I go cold as ice (I have a high body temp which can usually melt ice in seconds, defrosting the car for me, I need only place my hands of the windscreen!), and begin to sweat profusely (waterfall amounts), at this point I am dis-orientated and dizzy and am incoherent (so I've been told?).

Then I begin to shiver uncontrollably and then begins an over-riding, all encompassing need to lay down on the floor (I can't think of anything else but this), if I don't, I will lose balance and hit the floor anyway, once I am on the floor (by design or not), I can then only think about throwing up and nothing else comes in to my head (sometimes I do, some I don't), at this point, it takes about 20 or so minuets to be able to stand on my own and walk a little, full recovery can take a full day crying

That happened under Test Conditions yesterday (not nice) sad (although, one of the nurses was extremely good looking and she took care of me, that helped a little wink ).

Re: UK

@TMC - that sounds really nasty. Really hope that something can be done for you to ease this problem.

Re: UK

Sounds like some success as it happened under test conditions
Brick Wall anyone? sad
Unfortunately, this is a standard answer - The options for most things these days are:
a) treat the symptoms, not the cause
b) it'll go away on its own
c) take these pills for the rest of your life.
Anything more detailed/costly takes a lot of perseverance... and I'm pretty sure they only refer to get you off their backs.

(apologies to any GPs on here... it's just typical of my own experience too)

Re: UK

I hit 1,000,000 points in my first project, HCC biggrin

jonnieb-uk those stats for working our way up to the top 5,000 look cool. The fact it will take me 16years on run time is a bit disconcerting, but on up the I might get close with results by the end of the year.

And is it unusual for 'pending validation' to get to 34pages? It seems like an awful lot of results I'm waiting for others to return.

Not a GP but spent sometime managing a six partner GP practice. As with any profession there are good ones - those who go a bit further - and bad ones - those who just go through the motions. My personal judgement would be for a GP <40 - so their knowledge of the latest developments is still relatively uptodate. Despite the requirement for Continuing Professional Education I suspect that many GPs rely on their experience rather than keeping abreast of the latest changes to treatment, drugs etc.

Congrats on the points for HCC biggrin

I'm currently on 41 pages of pending (for all), of which 31 + 2 wu's are for HCC alone, so no that amount of pending isn't usual (albeit annoying), adding to that the Weekend Slowdown, your pending will probably increase before it receades sad
