Re: UK

Afternoon all.

Nice to know there are others here enjoy a finely crafted ale whether fruity or dark. Looking forward to the festive ales!
And Jonnieb, think a guest ale should be in place in your emporium wink

@TMC - their website has them in Somerton but maybe that's just an office address not the actual brewery site.

Wicksman cranking up the munching.

And for me, hoping to pass my first 100 days worth of RT today for the team, 22 hours to go.

Re: UK

Thanks crooks - congratulations on being one of the top 1000. I'm gradually working my way up the rankings, but might be a while before I join you.

biggrin Re: UK

All this talk of real ales has reminded me of one of the oddest ullage reports given to Theakstons brewery. ' Beer damaged by low flying Lancaster'. The brewery rep had been at the Ladybower Inn which is at the dam end of the Ladybower reservoir whilst the Battle of Britain Flight flew low over reservoir, the vibrations from the flight caused a kilderkin of Theakstons Best to fall from the stillion.

Re: UK

my new "best ever day" yesterday :)

Morning all.

I can't help hoping that I'll be having one of those soon. Since switching to CEP2 + HPF2 a few days ago, the pval WUs are stacking up appallingly and my daily points are about halved - shocking.... At some point, things will presumably start to catch up though!

Still, only one [achievable] green badge to go now :-)

Apart from the waste of ale, nice story.

Do you think the return of haggistheoriginal is linked to the recent ale talk? wink

And the team has gone storming past the 600million point mark too applause

Hmm, haggis might imply scottish, so maybe a pint of heavy or a pint of wee heavy is the drink of choice. 1 confused Or maybe Buckfast Tonic Wine ('Bucky') (15% ABV) 2

Re: UK

Welcome back, haggis!

All this continued talk of ale is making me think I might wash my dinner down with a nice refreshing pint or two of Theakstons Lightfoot! biggrin

Re: UK

Is anyone else seeing rather large numbers of HCC GPU betas coming in? I've had roughly 100 in the last hour, quite possibly more. Some are even completing.

Re: UK

Are you sure they're BETA's? HCC GPU has been officially launched today http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,33961
