I cannot see how it can be offending that I ask where the crunchers come from.
If you don't ask questions you don't get answers, and if people abstain from reacting, it's fine with me.
I have carried on with this thread for a while, because - luckily - each day brings new crunchers here.
I'm happy for the friendly contacts this thread has given me
- that there are a few surly (two to be precise) remarks must be expected
as must a few rotten apples as GeraldRube says.

My intention has been to build a sense of community. Some like it, some don't.
And knowing you come from Wisconsin means something to me, Bugg,
and maybe me stating being from the Kingdom of Denmark does to you also.

Wow !!! It's been almost 6 years since the last time I posted in this thread. At the time, I asked if I would get bonus points for having filled in my location. I didn't get the bonus points, but I did get a pat on the shoulder from little mermaid which was a lot better .

Christmas markets are awfully popular in Denmark. People travel to Germany and Sweden, but they are coming to Denmark as well. Last year I made a mini vacation to Aalborg (#4 city in Denmark) in December, and they had one
which I tried to steer clear of not being a shopper nor Christmassy
I would much rather see the sun shine on the red tile roofs of Dubrovnik – ah, I cannot see those things without wanting to go there … and I have not even recovered from my most recent trip yet, KLiK,
