Simonizing is fine, too, as long as you wax and then come here
But, you see, rarely do I get carried away by commercials. In my head, however, I can still after maybe 22 years hear the choir of deep, deep bass male voices at the end of the commercial making the "TURTLE WAX!" period after all the praise. It was like a select segment of The Red Army Choir. I looked in vain on YouTube. I also remember "If you haven't got time for the pain ..." and "My husband is long gone, but I still have my Seiko" - and I do Well, Pink Moose, now I have to move you in my mind from Maine to California. The colour stays the same, tho I have some kind of rewards here. I almost forgot. tanner2 receives the last one-digit place. He's #9 for filling in his index card as beautifully as I could wish for. But an attractive #10 is vacant for you, Pink Moose, just for stating your state in your "index card" - I can remember you're from California now - but how would Thumbelina, The Snow Queen, The Little Match Girl or The Steadfast Tin Soldier know when they see Pink Moose and that your team is New England? - not to mention "The Princess and the Pea" - the fibromyalgia fragile one? ![]() |

I happened to notice the
----------------------------------------Members Current Ranking thread today and went down into the magic world of WCG statistics. I found out that I was #611 for run time out of 2,485 Danish crunchers and let out a sigh of relief that not all I did went up in words. Winding my way down that list I noticed several crunchers whose names had made me think they were from Denmark, but which I often could not get confirmed by their left-of-their-post-info that comes from their "index cards". I even saw names I remember from the UD-days - on the other hand, I noticed names I have met but never had thought belonged to Danish crunchers. I posted this picture: ![]() - I am aware that some Danes have problems with being proud, because of this issue or that, but I think all of us can find something to be proud of, for instance that we have Freedom of Speech which sadly is not granted all people in our World. I thought I could repeat my eternal begging for geographical info in that thread - but my entire post mysteriously evaporated. I have now posted my name, country and rank in that thread - and a little more - and hope the post will stick this time. If any of my countrymen happens by here, and if they happen not to have their country listed in their index cards I would kindly ask them to do so - click your "My Forum Profile" ^^^^ up there, grayest bar, second item from the right - and fill in as much info as you wish - your country should be a minimum. Finally, I finished my post thusly. Approximately: Crunching over nationality - but geography matters [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Dec 4, 2011 4:38:31 PM] |

- and I certainly hope the full edition of my post will stick here EDIT: I may have confused two threads here: Members Current Ranking and Country Current Member Ranking in which case I'm sorry - having had posts evaporate earlier obviously makes me paranoid ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Dec 5, 2011 5:47:33 PM] |

Not a bad weekend at all.
A visit from Pink Moose - whom I hope will put "California" on his "Index Card" which will give him #10. A visit from tanner2 who made the nicest "Index Card" that I have seen for a long, long time - he gained place #9 for sharing his geography with us - tanner2 doing so resulted in a visit from a fellow Minnesotean: Sgt.Joe - and it turned out the two of them had almost bumped into each other at the Bunk Hill Ski Area. All that geography transformed tanner2 into a Base Camper - I think it was Base Camp's Trek #31 with Team My efforts against childhood cancer whose captain is Finnish that hit the nail on the head. Northern Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula were for a big part settled by Finns. Several times lately I have posted The Sauna Song thinking "Conga Se Menne" who perfom it were Finnish. They sing with an unmistakenly Finnish accent - but it turns out it is The Yooper Dialect - from the Finnish areas of the USA Oh, geography matters - did you put your geographic vitals down on your "Index Card"? |

Team Crunching@EVGA crunchers are model crunchers geography wise.
More and more of them fill in their "Index card" - please scroll back in this thread for instructions - and this useful info is slowly making strings for the most beautiful cob web the world has ever seen - so where are you from? - did you fill in your index card? The Forums are going offline for maintenance in 45 minutes - in approximately four hours we will have newly cleaned and well oiled Forums - during those four hours I expect you have thought hard about where you live - so you are ready to put it down on your index card - and the minute WCG flashes up again, I hope you'll run as fast as you can to click "My Forum Profile" See you later ![]() |

Often - swimming behind the scenes - I notice one of you seeking information on, say, SNURK
If you look at his "index card" you're in luck - because he's up front about being from The Netherlands. But, but, but, I see you seeking info of lots of crunchers where all you get is: "Don't want to show e-mail" eh? Tastes like sticking your tongue out of the window when it rains, eh? May I kindly ask you to put some rockin' into your "My Forum Profile" so when I or you look for a little hard facts we shall not have this discouraging "Don't want to show e-mail" - it doesn't make anybody's day ... Little Mermaid's "inflicting" thread turned out not to reveal the real
inflicting done ... I'm a pest and I'll keep pesting you with this one: Where are you from ? - please - go to the grayest bar up ^^^^ there - click "My Forum Profile", second item from the right - fill in as much as you are comfortable with - but as a minimum your country I have prizes - the criteria for dealing them are pretty murky, also for me. But I have give #s 1 through #9 to crunchers who added their country as a consequence of my appeal - that does not include the many, many Team Crunching@EVGA members who pleased me by doing so - except for tanner2 Confused? That makes two of us ![]() Turning Tables ![]() |

Are there bonus points for those of us that filled in our country info before you started your "inflictive" campaign ?
---------------------------------------- I can add a little to my info....I live in Guadalajara, Mexico (4 hours from Puerto Vallarta). The temperature right now is aprox between 17-22°C (60-75°F)... I'm still running around in a t-shirt. CJSL |
