I cannot believe this! Isn't that funny? It was a crap shot ... Yes, it's a wonderful place and Garden of the Gods is right around the corner. One of the crunchers from Colorado Springs is USAFA 82 - Captain of Team The Christians, and a Base Camper as well and another one is Johnny Cool - Captain of Team Andrax Nice to meet you, tank1023 - what a coincidence ![]() |

It makes me childishly happy to meet crunchers like
Carlos and tank1023 who came here today. Carlos poked my poor conscience making me aware that the world is bigger than I think. Brasil And tank1023 turning out to be one more cruncher from the Crunching Capitol of the World: Colorado Springs was one of those things .... ... Just One of Those Things ![]() |

Indeed, the world is huge, my own country have 26 states and a federal district, and of those, i visited/know only couple cities of only 5 states, and 3 other country's (2 neighbors: Uruguay and Paraguay) and USA (California ^^, i love sun), if i would guess, i'd say 0.001% of all those thousand miles that are out there ^^.
----------------------------------------But, besides all the miles and oceans that separates us, here we are joined together fighting against problems and helping to make our big backyard a better place to everyone :-)). Cheers and Best Regards :-) ^^ Carlos R. Moreira ![]() |

Well I am always amazed about the forums. It can make the world come together and make it seem like we are all next door.
----------------------------------------I would like to see more places. I have lived in Mn and Wi ( only 150 miles away) I have been to Colorado Springs, very nice area and my sister lives there. I have a uncle in Brazil that has been a priest there since 1969 and I love the pictures and story's that he has. Only been out of the US to see Mexico and Canada. I live next to Buck Hill ski area. I also was surprised to see my name with a invite to post, thanks. ![]() |

It was a little strange to see the ski hill had the only snow at this time of year. Cheers

tanner2, thank you for responding with filling in that index card- and giving it a lot of attention. Not only do I now know that you live in one of the coldest areas of the entire union, I know your city and on top of it all, you tell what you do for a living - and what you give away for free, because you care. Just a few words, I feel I know you a little, and I have something to put to your name, when I see you around here. By reading in this tread you met people from many places; some of them you have been to yourself like - Colorado Springs, Cruncher Capitol of the World So you took a trip down Memory Lane and put a place on some of the people posting here. I'm glad that you like to see more places, also. Feel free to help me keeping this thread alive, tanner2. And you met a neighbour. Sgt.Joe was one of my first visitors here in this thread. Hello Sgt.Joe - it's always nice to bump into you |
