brown chris, or whoever may be able to help, I need the name of a solar company in California to talk with about a solar panel system. I have been talking with "Theresa Klarich" <tklarich@acroenergy.com> and found that Acro Energy would do the installation of the system. You would pay Sun Run the monthly payment, as they would be the owner of the system. The term is 20 years. But, you can purchase the system during the term if you choose. 20 years seems to be an excessive amount of time to have to lease a solar system. I thought, from one of our previous discussions, that a 10 year lease could be obtained. If this is the case, I would like to know the name of the company involved. They were orderd thru NewEgg So was mine. I got an email notification and they cross shipped me a replacement overnite air when they became available and gave me 30 days to ship the defective one back. I've had my replacement board for almost a month. Sounds like they dropped the ball with you.

Since it's a good news/bad news morning, we had a line of storms come thru last night with a lot of wind. I've heard that about 250,000 folks lost power. There were three fatalities down south of Atlanta. There was baseball size hail somewhere - I think east of town. I lost power here about 10:30. By about 1AM, the lightning and rain were pretty much over so the crew were probably able to get out and start repairs. Power came back on about 5:30 AM so I lost about a third of the day's crunching time but no damage here. Same front is rolling through here now. There may be tornado warnings later. Hey Nano, you manage okay with that front today? The problem here was the wind. Lots of trees blown over. Five of the now six fatalities in GA were from falling trees. The other was from one tornado. The winds have finally settled down. |

Unbelievable! We had our first 900K point day today! I'm not sure what to expect right now but that's not a problem when the surprises are like this. It's getting a lot harder to keep up with all the good news with so many folks returning, the new records every week or so, all the on-going milestones. Sorry if I miss something but don't hesitate to tell us about it either.

Oh, and yes, we passed BOINC@Australia today. IBM Rochester is next but they're 6.25 million points ahead of us and running 600K-800K days much like us so it's going to take some work, and time, to catch them.
