I've sorted the bandwidth issue out. I'm now getting Message from server: The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 is not available for your type of computer. Dose this mean there are currently no beta work units for windows? No this happens to mean that your system is not Linux as CEP2 is Linux only at the current time |

Plz don't create unwarranted hi hopes. By my tally, by far the largest part has returned. Also since it's n / 2 core distro, the original sending and also the No-Reply resends will be a spread happening.

I recieved 2 re-sends about 3 hours apart on my main machine this afternoon. Both were "no reply" WU's. They've been bumped up to the top of the queue so they get returned ASAP.

Hi; could we have an update on the estimated date of release of the non bata units? I believe that would be: Soon; Not yet; Still analyzing the Beta WU; Working on it; Haven't decided if we need to issue another Beta; Will let you know when the WU are ready. Please be patient. We have lots of things going on. If we had time to respond to your request, we would have, but we don't even have that time. We have a plan and that defines what we are working on. No, the plan is not published to users, only staff. You will be told only when the work is released for you to work on. You will not be told in advance what is coming and when it will start. As for dates, we do not predict the future. There you go. I believe that covers everything. |

I would have just said "When they are ready."

Just got a re-send and that issue with the CPU usage default surfaced its ugly head. The second the beta started, my entire BOINC suspended because CPU usage was too high. The thing is, only BOINC was running. I had to change it to run always just to get the thing to run.

I would have just said "When they are ready." If I had just said that, I was afraid of getting the response: 'When will that be?'/Just like Microsoft Service Packs! |
