Re: CEP2 beta for windows - Version 6.25

Well, so much for the 12 hour cutoff on this wu as it is now at 13:31 hours & 19.6% complete. Wingman got it at the same time and still shows “in process”. CPU usage shows 50% (this is the only thing the machine is doing). Perhaps a Tech will let me know if they want me to leave it alone or abort it.

Re: CEP2 beta for windows - Version 6.25

The one and only received here went to the max on CPU time:

BETA_ E200495_ 123_ A.25.C21H14N2OS.82.3.set1d06_ 0-- 95711 Pending Validation 21-9-10 22:01:33 22-9-10 14:02:22 12.00 118.6 / 0.0

edit: and pretty efficient with "only" 48 minutes on 12:48 hours going to wait on whatever and me using the system reasonably intense.

6.25 beta11 BETA_E200495_123_A.25.C21H14N2OS.82.3.set1d06_0 12:48:53 (12:00:00) 22-09-2010 15:56 22-09-2010 16:02 Reported: OK

Re: CEP2 beta for windows - Version 6.25

Never had problems here with 8 WUs at same time-using I7 920 boxes with 6 GB RAM and one quad with 8 GB RAM.

Grabbed 4 beta WUs today. These will be crunched on a Core i7@3.35 GHz. I will report back after they have completed. My first betas! Yay!

Did a bit of testing. Shut down and restarted BOINC (LAIM on) and it came back in same state. Shut down and restarted BOINC (LAIM off) and it came back at 2:05 hours (was 15+ hours), 1.667% (was 20+%) and 21+ hours to complete and increasing. Booted the machine and it came back in same state as LAIM off. Normal restart message. I will wait until I hear from Tech's or it runs past 12 hours. Unless Tech's want me to keep it going, if it goes past 12 this time I'll abort it. It's a long time since I had one this strange.

Re: CEP2 beta for windows - Version 6.25

hmmm, strange. I had 2 that went to to 12 hrs, so that means that the cut-off time is working on at least a few systems. However, most of mines were 8-9 hrs, some were 4-6 hrs long
