I hope that "other platforms" doesn't mean that Linux systems are excluded? I have some new work on my Windows system but none on my Linux rig.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Work units are loaded into the hopper are unisex, gender is determined when first one of pair is downloaded, then the 2nd of pair matches first. my windows boxes are geting committed to other platforms also. Depends on who got the the last batch before you. will stabilize after the inital rush.

Also am getting Reached dailly quota message, have started a few so I can get them returned and get my quota raised ;)

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I just snagged some type C (mostly px) for each of my 3 rigs and all in progress. Not sure but these may be from the type B we processed late May.

Edit: BTW, these are all Linux platforms.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I picked up around 75 WU's across 3 windows machines during the overnight. Hope this shower lasts for a while. I don't think I will be able to reach Sapphire, but every little bit helps!

Depending, but devices that are new to the B/C type might walk into the

4583 World Community Grid 22-6-2012 12:46:58 This computer has finished a daily quota of 2 tasks

Miraculously, this duo device, switched on for the rain occasion, received 2 repair jobs first, plus 2 more, suggesting it had some legacy A++ rating, but the scheduler then having second thoughts on that. Have asked techs off-line on this... This IS just an FYI, in case anyone encounters this and wonders... this is a WIPI ;>)

Let it rain on, whichever way biggrin

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

It's Raining Again!

It sure is. I got 8 work units yesterday. One errored out (as did the same one that the person paired with me did). 6 are valid, and one pending. Then I got 4 more this morning, still in progress. So 12 in the last 30 hours or so.

This compares very favorably to the 14 I received previously, in the entire history of the project.
