From November '10 to April '11 there was plenty of work units. I went from 120 to 370 cpu days during this period using 8 cores without spamming the servers, just used a DDDT2-only profile with a one day cache. Maybe such a Winter Monsoon's coming back some day. Still got 5 pe's running, run times ~29 cpu hours on mobile i7 (2 days quota). Looks like all of the 11 tasks i crunched will end up valid, 2 of which were repair jobs from immediate errors. For more exact "plenty" refer to http://bit.ly/WCGTPM --//-- |

Wow, little engine that could. Old IBM R40 laptop with 1.3 Ghz CPU and 1 GB RAM, BOINC client CPU 50% usage set. I was worried it might error out.

That's usually a positive sign, but that said, they were this time quite quickly gone off my RS pages.

None here too JD, since A type have only 1000 at most in a target... that lasts statistically about 2 minutes on the WCG grid (distribution is 11 WUs per second ATM). PLUS, they only go to devices that are rated reliable (such as always returning work under 2 day on average). Where were you in those 2 minutes?

I got 2, both errored after about 1/2 hour. They went to about 8 people who got errors as well. Here's the error:
