I followed everybody's suggestions (thanks!
---------------------------------------- ) and was finally able to get 8 WUs. Hopefully, I can get some more. On a sour note, my old desktop seems that it can't receive any DDDT2 WUs due to memory restrictions . Oh well, I happy to receive what I can on my laptop.CJSL |

I now have a question... I can see in the messages that the client is requesting DDDT2 work between 1-10 mins. Is this normal? or do I have to change a setting someplace if this is excessive (I didn't find anything, but then I'm not a "preferences" expert).
----------------------------------------EDIT: Although it does seem to be working... I've received 3 new WUs since I posted the above. Thanks, CJSL ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by cjslman at Jan 13, 2012 12:34:04 AM] |

if the computer is requesting it there is no problem.. but some people will hit update every 10 seconds until they feel they have enough

That is normal (and the secret to getting wu), server sends back off based on load, once your cache fills it will go back to requesting as needed good luck

@ seippel,
Could you please post the batch numbers as you've done in past... the axxx through exxx batch range. Then every knows how far the distribution has progressed, maybe putting many at ease not to max cache earlier in this multi day torrent. The more is cached, the longer it will take to have quorums complete [the low cache meets high cache quorum for example] thx --//-- |

First repair, on Linux... Mine's past the 6th checkpoint, i.e. not considering there is an actual science app or WU issue.

That's good for a few days to top up stats, also because the 'p' carry the TTC estimates of the 's' (cause my cruncher had mostly 's' when the trial batch came through). Maybe sapphire in 2012 :D --//-- |

I have enuf to last me through the outage (unless it drags on past the weekend). Nice to be crunching the old Dengue again, been a while.
