The default setting is one per computer. This can easily be changed on your device settings on the website.

All you have to do is when there is rain, only select DDDT2.
----------------------------------------I've gotten 2 years by being stubborn, now I relax and work other things (though it is selected and I get a wu or 2 each rain) ![]() |

Always keep your buckets out in case the rain starts. Cheers ![]() My bucket is always out but is persistently dry: nothing for weeks, now. Ah well, 6 weeks since the last DDDT2, and 55 CPU days away from Sapphire. It'll come when it comes.
For a low-maintanance progress: select "only" DDDT2, and also choose "if there is no work available...". It will help to scoop up work when the rain comes during the sleeping hours. Here, I have also Leihman selected for now. About 4 calendardays later that one becomes sapphire, and will be deselected. Perfect set&forget setting. |

There have been many posts regarding the best way to collect "rain". If you can afford to check here daily for the latest weather report, keep your cache size at zero and run projects that have short jobs if you can. Then if there is "rain", change to DDDT2 only and increase the cache to catch some rain.
----------------------------------------Alternately, I have put a few days worth of work in my cache, and then changed to DDDT2 only and bumped the cache up to 6 days. That would keep my machines working on something for a few days while they would wait for rain. You have to repeat the process every few days and update the client at the appropriate times. That gets tedious during the long periods of drought so I usually am on method 1 unless the weather report calls for rain. #1 way to quench your thirst for DDDT2; check this thread often. There are alot of very dry buckets out there Cheers ![]() ![]() |
