Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I've just found 3 on my machines. Can't remember, but do these WUs normally have long predicted 'To completion' times?

Mine are 64+ hours at 0%

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I just got 4 Type A's, my first ever. They came in saying 54 hours to completion but based on progress it may be more like 12 hours. At 30 minutes I still haven't reached a checkpoint.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

How do I find out what tasks I have completed for dddt2? I know there were only 4. If I look at my boinc log, that goes back to January 1, 2011, there were none. So the four I did must have been earlier than that.

Generally once the task is complete, you can find it in the result status tab - it sits there for up to 4 days (lately it never last more than two) - DDDT2 tasks hang around for much longer than 4 days even if both you and your wingman completed the task on time.

Once the task is removed from that list, (and from BOINC) there is no way to find out what tasks you have done unless you have been keeping a manual record.

Once the task is removed from that list, (and from BOINC) there is no way to find out what tasks you have done unless you have been keeping a manual record.

The BOINC-client keeps track of all work it's uploaded error-free, but of course it's possible it will fail validation later on. For each BOINC project, in your BOINC data-directory you'll find a file called job_log_project-url.txt, meaning for WCG this is job_log_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.txt, and this file among other things includes time finished (in unix-time), cpu-time, task-name, and run-time. For run-time you'll need to run v6.6.xx or later, while for the other logging not sure, but atleast v5.10.45 has this option...

The biggest problem with finding that type of WCG-work you've done is that some of the sub-projects has less-than-descriptive names, so example I've no idea that sub-project the task zb144_00014_12 was...
