Re: Join The International Team

Hello team and indeed good to see you again Ale9Hack!

Bought a car today. A diesel Saab 9-3 from a dealer. Oh it really was a pleasure to drive it back home :)

But as ALWAYS, I cannot have anything pure good in my life; as I arrived home i saw that the car leaks some fluid from somewhere beneath the hood. It is not oily, it does not smell anything and it has the viscosity of water. Perhaps it is condense?

Will have to let someone have a look at it on monday...

Have a great weekend team!

Hi Leo...Hopefully it is nothing major and can be easily fixed.

Re: Join The International Team

Thanks Chris! Yes, at least my sister's boyfriend said that he is pretty sure that it is just some condense water. He has got the same "problem" with his car after longer journeys. So, there is a chance that it is nothing too serious.

Sounds good Jack, let us know if your temps get better with the new cooler!

Tomorrow I will be off to the capital for a few hours, just to take a cup of tea with someone I have been chatting with through skype for a while. I have never done such a thing before - and I do not mean specifically that I haven't met anyone IRL after just skyping, but I have never met anyone specifically just to have a cup of tea together and talk. Especially not with anyone of the opposite sex. These things are really really "not my cup of tea" if you know what I mean...

Well, I am quite terrified of the whole thing as well as i really would like to meet her. And I know deep within that it would probably do me good to do this no matter how uneasy I feel about it at the moment.

Wish me luck! :)

Yes indeedy! went from the 70s to right at 50 degrees C.
at 100 percent. Might overclock it later but not worried about it much.
It gets around 40K PPD (Points per day) with out it, so I'm good.

Re: Join The International Team

Those are pretty good temps, Jack! You should definitely do some OC'ing :)
Especially you can try to find the highest stable clock at which you don't need to up the vcore. That should be the sweet spot between performance and efficiency and heat. Of course if you are looking specifically for efficiency you can always undervolt your chip at its current frequency.

My meeting with my skype friend in the capital went pretty well and I coped better than I thought even though of course I do have problems with social situations. But I do my best and really really hope she got a feeling of the true me and that it was something positive.

Be well everyone!

Re: Join The International Team

Good day team!
Been quiet here for a few days...only me sitting in front of my PC with an ambient temerature of 30 C, working (at least trying to)? Oh well, at least I have my anti-hangover bag filled with cold water to help cool off the eyes and head. That's always something :)

Oh, for every day passing I realise more and more how much I enjoyed to meet my skype friend and just how much I would like to meet her again.

If I am lucky she might want to meet again one day...at least there is hope! :)

Have a great friday folks!
