As we pointed out in the past - the project target is really a nominal one and rather flexible. As of now, there is no concrete end date for CEP2.
Best wishes, Your CEP team |

By no end date, do you mean there is not a set amount of molecules to be analyzed or when the current set is done, new ones will simply be created using previous combinatorial methods?

Hi Byuda
We are constantly generating new and exciting molecules for investigation - since chemical space is so large, there are always more we could investigate. The challenge we are facing at the moment is working out the best places to focus our search - a nice problem! So to answer your question, there is no fixed end date because we are creating new ones all the time, giving us (and you!) the best chance of making a truly exciting discovery! Thank you for your replies, your honesty about the flexibility, and the fact that you are crunching as well. Congrats on the progress and I wish you the chance to get the discovery we are all hoping for.

New version at http://bit.ly/WCGCEP2 with info expansion in the lower section's minigraphs, sparklines as MS calls them. Records are represented by light-green bars at this time to indicate where the "High" occurred. Hover over the image and hit the magnifier with + size, right over to get the full impact. Ctrl+F5 if the browser cache is stale.
The OP updated already with the old link redirection. The forum width is locked to probably accommodate the ever more pervasive tablets resolutions, so it looks a bit squeezed in the left margin. Note, the link is case sensitive. Just type bit.ly/WCGCEP2 in the browser address box and the chart should pop up after some delay. TTYL |

The project runtime share dropped substantially over the past several days, just 4% of WCG total. Since my caches are 1 day deep, app_config is set to 1 running, 6 allowed to be 'In Progress' and my octo doing them in under 2 hours [header saying they're 8:58 hours], doubled the setting to 12, to make sure the oldest to start is always a CEP2... 12 times 2 hours makes 1 core doing a Q-Chem 24/7 ;)

When I change the profile to allow only cep, I have noticed the occasional "No tasks available ...." message. This is quite different from the days when cep WUs were straining to burst into your cache. |
