Re: The Clean energy Project - Phase 2 Crunching Chart

Well, absent Clean Water, Clean Energy overtook the former on me My Grid page.

Computing for Clean Water 1,787,737 3,694 1:322:09:01:35
The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 2,292,535 2,260 1:322:14:50:00

Crunching on, and do not forget to push the envelope...there's that selection box that allows to have more than 1 in your client cache! We've got years of crunching to do on this science and clean up our environment, post haste.

Re: The Clean energy Project - Phase 2 Crunching Chart

Dear SekeRob,
just wanted to state this for the record and for everyone here on the forum:
Your support of CEP2 and the WCG as a whole is awesome, you are a great asset for our project, and we are extremely grateful for it!
If you ever happen to be in the Boston area then please let us know and we'll take you take you out somewhere nice biggrin .
Thanks for everything and best wishes from
Your Harvard CEP team

FYI, SekeRob:

Fodor's Choice Boston Restaurants

Might as well get some additional data on the meaning of "nice" in this context; it's only good science, after all. biggrin

Re: The Clean energy Project - Phase 2 Crunching Chart

unfortunately I am running slower on CEP2 0:323:12:51:14 but maybe in Jan or Feb i will hit 1 year here.

always interested in alternative energy and distributed computing.

I also like the fact that the scientists for Cleanenergy are also crunching here

Re: The Clean energy Project - Phase 2 Crunching Chart

unfortunately I live in Kitsap county Washington... and that is a 3.5 hours/day average as opposed to most places in the US with a 4.5-5.5 hours/day

so where i live we mostly play with solar... I have solar path lights and some solar device chargers but being there are low incentives at this time with the price of solar it is cheaper to put my cash into efficiency and reduction of power usage while i wait for solar to be more cost effective. but i love crunching for it

Re: The Clean energy Project - Phase 2 Crunching Chart

Passed 8 million results and production nearly hitting 18 CPU years. Still, with zero redundancy that would have taken about 32 years with quorum 2 distribution. Almost hitting 2 years on the badge front here.

Re: The Clean energy Project - Phase 2 Crunching Chart

New calendar month record... from 522 CPU years accumulated in May 2011 to [provisionally] 580 totaled in January 2012, and spring break is still months away for us to improve on that number... maybe already in February... it's a leap year, so maybe set this as the challenge for the coming month: The Leap Year Challenge. Who's game?
