speedy, aktual progress is under "progress" :) characters are white on white, but if you look better, you will see 23,69% There's a reason the numbers are white on white, that figure is wrong and Sek deliberately made it less visible to not confuse and alarm casual visitors checking up on progress. Originally the project was scheduled to last a year or so with all OS'es crunching and the % complete on the chart was the % of the original year - not the % of the work.Had all OS'es been crunching they'd have been the effectively same, but the delay in getting Windows going means that although the % of the project actually completed has been much less than originally anticipated at this date the expected end date hasn't been adjusted yet. That was the reason for my question, as I'm unsure of how much the end date will be affected. Will it push back the end date, or will the project be given a higher weighting in the WU distribution when windows does join in to ensure the project finishes at the originally agreed end date? |

Since this is an Opt-In project what is likely to happen is, that those who do select this science on Windows/MAC (and can successfully run this) will see an above average number of CEP2 tasks as we presently see on Linux when on a multi-science profile.

Well I just hope they get the MS/Mac boxes helping here pretty quick.
I am getting almost nothing but cep2 WUs and would really like to see some of the others that I am subscribed to. Right now I have 12 cep2 WUs, 1 hcc WU and 1 c4cw WU. This also means I do not have the option of just running 3 cep2 WUs at one time with something else. It does add up the days for cep2 pretty fast though. |

Crunching solely CEP-2 for now. One of my main crunchers is acting but but appears to be the dans and overheating not the project!

We have increased the project weight up to give it a better equal share. You should notice the increase in runtime within the next 24 hours.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

A mini milestone on 13.02.11 at 12.05 UTC we are at 25.17% done. We have done y:d:h:m:s 1966:195:19:17:09 yesterday y:d:h:m:s 13:260:18:28:03 & the average is y:d:h:m:s 8:187:07:08:54 time per result is 07:43:46. Yesterday I returned a result in 3.82 hours

A new day record was set, one without carry-overs due events, at 18.7 CPU Years. If we can keep the dailies just above the sloopy whit line in the crunching chart, we'll be doing very good.
Crunch on, and know on latest patched W7, you can do a little bit more for this science. --//-- PS, Clean Water also had a day record! |
