Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

I am working on creating some very small showers. This would be about 30 work units sent out with 2 copies of each. Type A work units similar in size to the ones seen in beta.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Thanks Uplinger - I would think that you could send out the 30 WU's with a 100 copies of each and they would all be back before the end of the week!!!!!

Anything being made available for distribution is better than nothing - although a few more to 'go round' would be even better still!!!!

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

I am more and more disappointed !
Since project begin I was only able to catch 2 WUs (which I computed successfully). It is the first time I do have so few success for collecting WU of a project.
Again today: NOTHING crying
I have just one question:
  • Does WCG send DDDT2 WUs only to boinc 6.x.x agent ?

If Yes, it could explain my poor success, because my hosts still operate 5.10.45.
If it is the reason for this issue, it would be fine to communicate on this specific restriction.
Cheers,
Yves

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

KerSamson, the simple answer is, no.

The more complex answer, is that there's just been so few DDDT2 WU's that, for the time being, you simply haven't been fortunate to pick up more. You've got to remember, that there's a lot of crunchers out there, who have just DDDT2 selected (topping up with other work as and when required), so when a few drops do arrive, they very (all too quickly) evaporate into someone's queue...
