Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

I was lucky to see the last batch of Beta testing just starting 2 days ago late night at my time zone and so I was able to grab some Beta WU's. The first PR type WU's errored out and Uplinger took those WU's out. The other types ran much better.

This might predict a nice shower of WU's soon.

Yes Yes! Hurry before HFCC runs out of workunits. Enough crunchers will run over here and I be able to get a sapphire badge for that project. I'm almost there, but probably will miss by a few days. The restart of DDDT2 might be enough to upset the balance of crunching. wink

Cheers coffee

Hard to talk, throat very dry, but good luck on your HFCC blue.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

We are currently Running some preruns through right now on the alpha grid. This is to get some work in preparation that the results from the beta look good. I think we will need to wait another week for rain. So there are developments happening but we need to make sure all the wind patterns and <insert other weather terminology here> are secured properly.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

That's ok...I can wait. I still have 3 other projects to get Sapphire for anyways. This will be a good week to beef those up.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

<ash> is the forecasts present hot topic biggrin

Picked up another 2 betas today, both ran well; even did a Boinc update to 6.10.56 during the run smile

You could have set a higher priority though; they sat there for a while before they ran!

Hey at least we can see the rain clouds on the horizon and hopefully they will blow our way. Can not make out the Beaufort number but perhaps it is high.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Well given Uplinger's last post, assuming a 7 day week, and
a day or 2 for unforseen events, I'm predicting showers on
Tuesday or Wednesday. This time, no more Mr Nice Cruncher.
I'm filling my buckets (unless they are A type then of course
we only get one per core) however it works it's still fun. As
it is I have enuf Proteomes to go emerald, so FA@H is last
ruby to upgrade to emerald, and of course DDDT2. With the
addition of an I7 930, by the 26 or 27th, should be doing
around 50,000 PPD and up to 20 days runtime. So 9 days que,
times 20 cores is 180 days, hmm only need 90 days to ruby,
guess I'll just do 5 days que, that should quench my thirst for
a bit :)

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

sticks out all my buckets and looks for an updated weather forecast. i know its just been 1 week since Uplinger's post but i am hoping the work shows up again soon.. and i don't mind crunching the dreaded A type.. im just going for 1 WU for computer since i am sure there will be enough work once the rain comes
