Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

“Within days” Jean! Nice and vague.
Read back Uplinger's posts in this thread about this small distribution and watch their timestamps and you will see by yourself.
From memory and the project stats I think at least 90 % had been returned within two days (50 % on the first day if I remember correctly).

But one is still missing. And that one holds back a cluster of 5 thus delaying a lots of B's and C's

Is it delaying a dengue cure or a badge? Do a few days matter that much in the big picture? Sorry, I just don't get it :(

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Delays are cumulative, and they delay potential treatments!
It is up to the techs to determine WU importance to the project, and issue enough numbers to ensure one of each task type is returned as soon after the average run time as is desirable. In this case I would have thought the importance would be very high; new tasks depend on the results of previous tasks in this project. Beta tasks are arguably even more important. Perhaps it would be important to consider the relative situation of the project as well.

Ultimately the badges will not matter, but there is nothing wrong with setting personal goals, having fun and being proud of your achievements - life is about the journey not your wealth of possessions at the end.

"life is about the journey, not your wealth of possessions at the end."

Thank you for that applause
I think that is such good advice - what a wonderful phrase.
I must remember that when I start to get all hot under the collar in life's ups and downs.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

As I promised, Here is a little bit of a warning about new DDD2 work that is going to be released within the next 6 hours. It is all of the typeB work for ts06. So 50 work units sent out with 2 copies each. All of the type A's completed and now we're onto type B :)
