Current copy of wcg_cep1.state sent. The old version might be able to be sent, but it'll take a while, it's on a stick at work.

Sek, it's probably someone who's been greedy and have more Type A's than their computer(s) can cope with - after all, there were a fair bit of 'hovering up' of Beta WU's this time around... ? wcg_cep1.state ? A covert test of XXXXX code for cep in between dddt-2 or an modded backfill of cep1? Strange hours :D Sek, since DDDT-2 is using charmm (similar code that CEP1 used). There was a file that was left with the wrong project identifier. This is not critical but will be fixed in the future. -Uplinger |

andreic, Thanks for that state file you sent. From what I have read, this file is from a work unit that was running properly and didn't have the restart issue?
If so, can you see if you still have that copy of the bad work unit. If you have it from the same time you sent the result.out for it, that would be very helpful. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Uplinger, that work unit restarted 3 times, it had been running since 2010-02-04 @ 10:43:25 MST, without BOINC being restarted, just with transitions to batteries and BOINC controlled activities like CPU benchmarks.
The work unit completed this morning at about 7:14 MST and was submitted before I checked at 7:45. Here is the wcg_cep1.state file content from the same time as the result.out. 2850 0 498976 50 1 5000 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 BTW I still have a copy of the complete BOINC Data directory from that time. |

I'm just curious. What's the longest duration of type A wu that actually finished?? My Longest one ended up at 110 Hours BETA_ erlc_ a156_ ps0000_ 2-- MUSCUV1050 Valid 2/3/10 23:31:33 2/9/10 03:20:21 110.11 900.4 / 867.7 I might not let that machine run the new Project BTW the deadline for the these is comming up. Think there will be some make up work?
