New Polar Bear Population Status Documents Withheld
----------------------------------------Date: 02/01/14 Susan Crockford, Polar Bear Science I suggested in my last post of 2013 that the biologists of the IUCN Polar Bear Specialist Group (PBSG) might have learned some lessons over the last year about the folly of withholding evidence, fudging data, and trying to hide good news. However, it appears that was wishful thinking. http://www.thegwpf.org/polar-bear-population-status-documents-withheld/ ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by GeraldRube at Jan 22, 2014 11:26:28 PM] |

I wud just to report this link and ask what we might think in correlation
----------------------------------------with these two added after: 1) Is our Sun falling silent? 2)En video : 2013 entre dans le top 10 des années les plus chaudes sorry in french, but its a report from a NOAA and NASA study of the climate and the video is quite a wonder. Here the source in english from the NOAA site: Global Analysis - Annual 2013 extracts: "The year 2013 ties with 2003 as the fourth warmest year globally since records began in 1880." "The year 2013 tied with 2003 as the fourth warmest year globally since records began in 1880." Sure the Devil is in the details.... Cheers ![]() |

The Fukushima disaster is likely to get far worse, if you can believe that
----------------------------------------The upshot is that the Fukushima disaster is not only far worse than you've been told; it's very likely going to be worse than you could ever imagine. The radiation leak isn't plugged, in other words, and another explosion -- which many experts believe might be imminent -- would release thousands of times more nuclear material into the open environment. Ultimately, the entire Northern hemisphere has been placed at risk by a bunch of corporate bureaucrats who thought building a nuclear facility in the path of a sure-to-happen tidal wave was a fantastic idea. Instead of acknowledging the problem and working to fix it like a responsible person would, our world's top politicians and ass-coverers have decided it is in their best short-term interests to play along with the TEPCO fairy tale which ridiculously pretends that radioactive leaks can be controlled by wishful thinking http://www.naturalnews.com/041610_Fukushima_r...k_state_of_emergency.html ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by GeraldRube at Jan 25, 2014 12:30:26 AM] |

Alged
----------------------------------------Remember those Siberian Weather Stations that went off air last year? As a result the Globe is "warmer" if you take places like Tiksi out of the equation. Despite NASA's space heritage GISS is from Land base measurements This is why I will continue to run The Global Thermometer with data straight from the horses mouth - directly from the Weather Stations - 2013 wasn't warm. All averages are averages of extremes The UK had a cold winter in 2013 but a hot summer... end result 0.09C from perfectly average Gerald don't get me started on Fukushima...... ![]() |

Thks I appreciate these precisions-right Devil is in the details-
----------------------------------------Even so i think human do have an impact on environment and the fact that british PM is in favor of fracking terrorizes me. And what about that lower Sun activity ,is there any impact of Earth cooler than warmer ? ![]() |

![]() New lowest global hourly temperature in the last 3 and a bit years -2.799C Beating 7th Jan 2014 and 10th Feb 2011 Alged with Hydraulic Fracturing the UK will gain access to a huge reserve (multiple centuries) of cheap power supply with which to power progress and keep people safe and warm. How this causes terror I'm not sure. The impacts of the possibility of another Little Ice Age due to the continued low activity of the Sun may be more life threatening if we don't have access to the "terror" above. The January 2014 result is in and the average temperature from 2438 NOAA Weather Stations around the Globe was 1.96C
----------------------------------------![]() The average temperature Feb 2013 through to the end of January 2014 was 12.206C ![]() Here's another forum friendly sized graph that updates hourly ![]() The graphs above are (at this moment in time) the result of 68,035,771 individual temperature measurements taken around the Globe from NOAA Weather Stations since the beginning of 2011 ![]() I'll leave it with you to decide if we are suffering catastrophic warming of our beautiful Planet.
