...and yet we control the climate through the change in concentration of a trace gas essential for life on earth.....

Watching of the next video presentation is not without hazard. Don blinkers and ear mufflers and *please*, do not ask yourself any uncomfortable questions:

A link between climate change and Joplin tornadoes? Never!

PS, Pine Island Glazier is loosing up to 16 meters off the top per year. Pine Island glazier's surface is 175,000 square kilometers. How many cubic kilometers of ice melt would that equate to?

PPS, would all that land based ice melting and run-off cause enough weight shifting in the tectonic plates to cause earthquakes?

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

As a present to celebrate the end of the crunching week, another installment of "Crock of the week".

The "Temp Leads Carbon" Crock: Updated

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nrvrkVBt24

Two comments to go with this. It start with a ''trick'' not for the faint of heart and towards the end there's the word ''carefully crafted". That's the second time in my life I've heard this term, someone here lamenting about his "carefully crafted posts". It's a conspiracy to some and it seems a couple of brothers are at the heart[land] of it all.

PS: Got a dozen bonuses ready to share... just will cost few seconds to post. We cannot allow for the incline to be hidden! Time to wake up to the Seriously Inconvenient Truths.

edit: The PS: kiss

Only in the UK

http://www.thecarbonshow.com/about

If this was really about making business more environmentally friendly it would be great

but....

it's about ETS, CRC, compliance and Carbon accounting, Offsetting and avoiding the CCL.

this is about the industry created off the back of a non-existent problem...the bit that adds cost to everyone's lives in the UK and beyond. The bit that causes UK power bills to increase by 19% just 6 months after the last enormous rise.

The best thing to do, if you really care about the planet, would be to not go and then 2012 could be cancelled.

Then there is the lecture on Hi-Res cam by Dr. James Hansen... 54 minutes and lots of inconvenient truth.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZHGwPzgeqc

'twas in Christ-Church, one town struck hard by an earthquake in February. It's save to say that he's so competent that he's probably having a little bit on the other end of the D&K spectrum. Little opinion, loads of multiline evidence to support his facts of grave implication. One thing for sure, he's serious about restoring an environment that is lasting for his posterity, and others.

James Hansen admits man-made global warming has been greatly exaggerated by climate models. He is a liar and is getting wealthy beyond his wildest dreams with this MMGW scam.
James Hansen admits man-made global warming h...gerated by climate models

http://www.akdart.com/warming.html
Even if the dire predictions of one degree of warming per century are accurate, the most aggressive and costly proposals for limiting industrial carbon dioxide emissions would only have a negligible effect on the global climate. At the same time, they would collapse our economy and bring industrial activity to a halt. Temperatures rise and fall constantly, and all we can do is adapt.

Here's a question for you Sek. If all this ice is melting where is it going? Your beloved IPCC now claims that the sea level is not rising and hasn't measurably risen in the last century.
Rise of sea levels is 'the greatest lie ever told'
