Sadly, the Arctic Sea Ice, the barometer of the Northern Hemisphere has fallen below the lowest spring levels recorded in modern history. 2.6 million km square gone in 40 days, the volume now nearing 10,000 cubic kilometers of sea ice under normal levels. I'm not hopeful to see any meaningful, PERSISTENT recovery in the coming decades with 90% of sun rays being absorbed by the open ocean instead of 90%+ being deflected back to space by sea ice. That's allot of Joules. Scientific blasphemy, this is a near perfect perpetuum mobile, the sun not thought to give up it's part of the bargain for the next 5-10 billion years.

It lasts as long as those who that want to smother any form of engaging conversation and some poking stay out of these threads. It's freedom of speech and thought expressed within the confines of the forum rules which some seem to clearly have trouble with and then engage in these endless thread bumping in chat to hide/suppress any meaningful discussion... that's stumping and that was what grid.org made go down. Asking questions and recycling data month after month when there was only 14 days worth originally send on HPF(1). THAT was the nail, so please don't try to make it appear differently. This thread is about the future of 6.8 billion people... what's happening to the planet affects us all! ALL!
