Okay, we are now halfway thru 2009 and it is proving to be a good year in spite of the heat and the economy! It would appear that while 144,000,000 points for the year may be a bit much (I'm learning to try to take advantage of the fact that this team has a knack for repeatedly proving me wrong so here's another chance to do that! ), 130,000,000 doesn't seem unreasonable to expect unless we have a long and deep summer downturn. We already have 17 (almost 18) millionaires for the year! RT is our torch for the year so far. He's already crunched in six months more than I've done in four and a half years. Esoteric17 is our marathon man moving up 50 spots in the active ranks and well over 300 spots across the entire team! We've all been busy hitting milestones so far too. It's a long list! Best part is that we've got so many folks doing their part whether its those with their own server farm ( and private power station ) or crunching during the week on their machine at work when it's idle. We're clearly a potent combination when you put all of us together! Add to all that the ground folks on this team have blazed in GPU crunching and our growing cross-project presence and we're making ourselves known in the bigger DC world!
