ROFLCOPTER: Yesterday's My Online Team Boinc Credits GPUGRID 91,672.84 World Community Grid 55,824.90 First, stipulating that one can do anything one wants with numbers, I found this interesting. If you sort yesterday’s WCG and GPUGrid BOINC credits by number of credits of returned: Project/Credits Returned/#Active Members WCG/ +29,716,290/ 216,930 GPUGrid/ +15,379,453/ 3,372 GPUGrid is now the #5 producing project with only 3,372 active users (but growing quickly). *** Spring is gone and hot here on the left coast ... 92F today in the foothills and much the same along the coast. ![]() ![]() |

@ DM: Just boxed up the 8800GT. You have a fan for it, I suppose, or should I unpack and enclose one in the box? I have a few cheapo tiny 40mm fans that MIGHT do the trick, and one thick 80mm fan that is overkill when used to cool the card.
@ Blizzie: DM's card arrive yet? We gotta get in all the extra points we can before he starts using my 8800gt. That thing kicked out about 5k points per day! |

We gotta get in all the extra points we can before he starts using my 8800gt. That thing kicked out about 5k points per day! I'm only running 5 machines and 4 cards now. I will not be using your card until I rebuild the Crapway machine. I will be shutting down two more Cinco de Mayo. I put the two coolest running cards in the two coolest running machines and that will be my config. until September. Those and the weather station machine will give me 10 cores and 2 cards for the summer. I will jump on the new MD2 project when it is released though. It not even noon and it's 87F. ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Dataman at Apr 21, 2009 6:45:45 PM] |

My C2D is probably way over the thermal limit at home. That chip is going to have a short life if the temperature doesn't drop from 90F.
Q6600 is not crunching anymore unless I find money to buy a new heatsink. 9800GTX+ is on the way still. It was in MA before it got redirected back here. |

They are becoming quite cheap as I can find them everyday now for under $99.00. @Blizzie: Thanks for the cool breeze from Blizzieland!!! We now have a nice costal breeze from the WSW which has held the temp to 88F. ![]() ![]() |

I just joined! The only thing I need help with is getting a nice counter in my SIG like Dataman! Relheok!!Welcome to the MOTley Crew!! Go here On the BOINC Combined line, click on the icon that looks like a graph. About a third of the way down you can copy your BOINC combined sig. and paste it in your sig here. If you want to add the MOT team sig, it is: http://www.boincstats.com/signature/team_60609.gif ![]() EDIT: Oh, you have to put {img} on the front and {/img} at the end of each. Replace the {}'s with []'s. ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Dataman at Apr 21, 2009 9:52:15 PM] |
