Has no purpose other than personal satisfaction of having MMd a rush job ahead, when hundreds of others in the same batch follow the normal path... FIFO. You can set your client to automate this... set the "Switch application every xxx minutes" to 6000. The client is fooled into thinking that the task wont finish in time unless put ahead of the queue.

Thanks for the automating tip. If you do the repair jobs 1st through it means crunchers will get their credit faster for that particular job or not?

If the object is to speed up credit grants for those that have a Pending Validation task, yes.
----------------------------------------For sciences such as FAAH, HFCC, HPF2 and C4CW, there's often no wingman waiting. In the case of quorum 2 it is more often the case that the repair job is returned and waiting on an original wingman. Only when the repair job is a result of a "No Reply" it serves to complete a quorum that has been uncompleted for more than 7 or 10 days depending on the science.

That is exactly what I have :) I had a higher figure but had to retune because of the new seven days deadline for HCC. rregards ![]() |

Overhauled the top post chart, now showing the full time of crunching rather than the last 3 months and put the target references in the chart near their respective start dates (thanks to gb009761 for digging them out here).
Also added the cumulative CPU years crunched, we just passed 30,000 last week. Interesting from this to derive the growing power of the grid: Did we need 20,000 years for the first 3 targets, will we need just over 15,000 years to do the second 3. Crunch On |

Best estimate, we just passed 90% complete. Chart updated (ctrl-F5 for some who've got a copy already in browser cache)

March 11, when even this side of the planet the ground went up and down by 3 centimeters, instrumentally. Almost 92% we're now and watch HCC1 after, for if the one beta I had is an indication, the windows part (probably 90%), is going to run near 2x faster too. The techs will be tuning the scheduler/feeder or really get serious about packaging multiple jobs in one task... it would mean not 200,000+ a day, but 400,000 results daily just from 1 science.
