The Help Fight Childhood Cancer Crunching Chart

What's a project without a chart to show progress. In due time the Chiba website http://www.chiba-cc.jp/test/inst/eng/project/ibm_wcg.html will provide progress information, as will be here and in this forum too, but visualizing the work, bars, lines and footed stats show the output before the scientists put their hand on (y)our contribution. First day just hours and 413 results + 21 that completed during the statistics update got validated.

If you see anything in the dancing lines and bars you don't understand, feel free to ask. They will need a few weeks to indicate how well the project finds uptake outside those having chosen to be automatically opted in.

Blue values indicate a record, milestones are signified by a green background.

Has anyone else noticed the similarity between the second image in Sekrob's signature of the Dutchpowercows.org symbol and the childrens cancer painting? biggrin

Re: The Help Fight Childhood Cancer Crunching Chart

The picture was painted by a 5 year old cancer patient who had Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. The patient passed away at the age of 6.

Re: The Help Fight Childhood Cancer Crunching Chart

Okay,

The Beta badge was fixed!

The Dec.5 start is because all charts currently start at that date . I'll change the beginning date parm probably when CEP resumes.

As noted, the background is subject to change... now and then another piece from the gallery will feature, drawn by various patients. Some survived, a reason for hope: http://www.m.chiba-u.ac.jp/class/bioinfor/wcg/e/hfcc_e/gallery.html .

Re: The Help Fight Childhood Cancer Crunching Chart

Now I see Sekerob has changed the background of the chart again..

Anyone notice instead of the dutchpowercows.org image in the last chart; the first character in the graph's background now looks like Kenny from South Park? biggrin
