Let me see. What might be the possible outcomes? 1) All 400,000+ users have the wrong points total. 2) one user was mistaken in trying to make two numbers to be equal that cannot ever be equal.

The short version is that Solarpowered got confused by a situation that is a little more complicated that it seemed. There's nothing untoward going on and nobody is getting cheated.

It means he wasn't getting screwed, but he was convinced he was just the same and couldn't/wouldn't see any different.

Honestly, I think he'd made up his mind to leave before he even made the original post and was just looking for an excuse.
