Good Morning!
Weather probably the same as in your place, Scribe, cloudy, calm,

Look forward to seeing you at 13:00

Now I just tried that out

Good you CAN come!
I'll try my best to let you have room for a sentence or two during that short time ...

Re: foot tapping

Yesterday turned out to be about as good as one could reasonably have wanted.

Warm sun in daughter No 1's garden with nibbles and fizz followed by ten of us having lunch in a well known steak bar despite four of the gathering being vegitarians - these days they're also very good with those options.

Re: foot tapping

Moaning all............

Back on home ground again having spent the last two days chauffering big brother around, took him to a special unveiling of a memorial to Vera Atkins and her girls of the S.O.E held at Alrewas in Staffordshire where he managed to pull again!!, this time a young S.O.E in uniform, no doubt he will enlighten you all later! biggrin
I met the daughter of Vera (Zenna) and also a former comrade that I hadn't seen in years, and amazingly discovered that an SAS guy (Pete Scholey) that was with him had been pulled out of a sticky situation in Aden by none other than........you've guessed it, big brother!!
Pete Scholey has written the book ~ Women at War.

A very good and enjoyable day for the pair of us.

Now to put me plates of meat up for a rest........................

Re: foot tapping

Yes, I'm here - still in once piece which is quite remarkable considering the things they did to me!! crying But, I am aware that it was all for my own good, so I was very brave!! Trouble is, they have these screens up above you so that they can see what they are doing and which means that if you open your eyes and look, you too have views into certain parts of your anatomy!! sad smile At least I know that I still have a heart (something maybe some of you won't believe!!) but true none the less!

Hope you are all keeping well and enjoying life. smile
