Well after all my efforts yesterday clearing the car, it has disappeared again under another blanket of snow! crying

Guess I shall have to start all over again tomorrow, because I need to get some things and some more food, as unless we have a thaw before Christmas eve, it looks as though I might not make it to my daughters! sad

It has finally stopped snowing here, so I am going to risk it and go to the supermarket. Need to get some more food in because there is quite a significant chance I think that I shall not be able to get away for Christmas! sad

'strewth, it has actually gone positive here....a whole +0.5 degrees....will have to consider putting the aircon on in the car!

Evening all

Started very (comparatively) mild here but cooled down during the morning so the slush crisped up again. Still, my final delivery of a side of Gravadlax arrived as scheduled so it's now only local shopping to think about.

We have finaly got what the rest of the country has had, 3 to 4 inches fell overnight making the place look like a christmas card.
Got to venture out in it some time today, still got food shopping todo.

Oh well, onwards and upwards...............
