Evening all
A bit milder today but I didn't get farther than going for the paper. It remains very quiet outside with very few parked cars so perhaps everyone else has headed for the sunshine. |

Just been into town!! The actual shop I made the journey for was closed!!
---------------------------------------- However, every other shop seemed to be open and everywhere was seething with people! Very foolishly I went into 'Sainsbuggers' ("as I was passing, and just in case" ) Just in case of what I know not, unless 20 people turn up here unexpectedly for food!! It was seething with people - who had obviously been eaten out of house and home - so having put things in my basket which I was having great difficulty in carrying, and didn't really need anyway, I thought I had better join the check-out queue. Having done that, I then had to stagger to the car with it (stagger being the right word - heavens knows who is going to eat it all!). It re-inforces my feeling that I definitely need a brain transplant, but not sure that science has moved on that far yet!Have a good day everyone! and the "Merling" saga continues. I looked in the cupboard, and guess what? Enough food to last until the end of spring! It's AGE that does it Merle!

Hi All,
A belated Happy Christmas from me. I did manage to get away for a week, but only by the skin of my teeth. Gatwick was awful. What do I come back to? - A comparitive heatwave, the temperature here today has been plus 10C. I daren't check the scales to see how much weight I put on.   |
