Re: .

Evening all

A white outlook here at the moment, but managed to complete a major pre-Christmas shop before it came down.

Had a good lunch with the old pensioners yesterday, but tripped over on the way back - don't even think why because you'd be absolutely right. So, I have a black eye to add to my charms!

Fish pie for dinns this evening - super.

Wonder what happend to the piece of steak? devilish wink

Hope thats the only damage, do take care

Old Sage

Re: .

I'm marooned again (along with all my neighbours)!! Worst thing of all is that I can't get out to buy my Saturday paper. sad crying I only have the one paper a week, and that has an extra supplement in it with all the TV programmes for the whole week. It hasn't stopped snowing at all since I got up (7.00 am). So I am well and truly pxxxed off! So far we have six inches of snow settled (I can tell by my little garden table as the snow is still pristine and staying where it has 'landed'!). Yes, you can tell, I am very fed up (that is the polite version).

Re: .

Nice sunshine although the temp is just around the freezing mark
one side of the street has melted with the sun tother side is deep in the bleak grip of winter . Have cleared and salted the footpaths outside our houses
de iced the condensate drain from the boiler,
removed an icicle . about four feet long & 1 1/4" dia
Went for my weekend paper, visited three shops none had any broad sheets
only the Star or Sun red tops
so have come home bereft

A little touch of breeze means our wind farm is working all 8 turbines turning

poor ashes score for us at close of play 88/5 oh well at least they are warm devilish
