Well I'm blowed if it aint warming up its 33 f Yep, warm front coming in from the south west. It has gone from -7 overnight to +5 now. We'll soon be flooded out!  Seriously though, I hope the warm weather front makes it much further up the country, it hasn't been much fun these last few days. |

Seriously though, I hope the warm weather front makes it much further up the country, it hasn't been much fun these last few days. I don't half hope you are right!!  I am fed up with this game now!  All the roads are like ice rinks, and all the pavements and paths are ice covered with snow! The only [person] I know that is enjoying this weather is my daughter's dog who is apparently in his element and they can't get him to come in from the garden!   |

Hmmmmm, looks like we had a whole quarter inch of fresh snow last night, it will soon be nearly a whole inch deep!

Oh great - on top of the snow (which shows no sign whatsoever of melting), we now have fog!!
And my glasses have fallen apart so I need to go into town to have them put back together! So do I walk, and risk falling over and breaking something, or do I try and drive and risk the car sliding all over the place? And I need to post my grandson's birthday card, but all the post boxes seem to be full to overflowing! "It's being so cheerful that keeps me going!" |
