Haven't put my nose outside yet this morning, but a lot of snow still out there so must be still too cold for it to melt! Got to go out though later so just hoping it is not too slippery.

Temperature a fraction up today here but still a cool wind making sure you have to wrap up well.

Still, had a successful (if one can forget the hurt to one's pocket) trip into town with no real crowds and cashiers immediately available. I'm not sure whether that's 'cause of the weather or people beginning to feel the pinch or, at least, seeing it looming.

awoke to cold house
combi boiler condensate drain frozen again
hammer and hot water freed it up very poor design

....turned to rain falling on frozen surfaces.....nice!

Very thick frost this morning and the remains of the snow now all frozen solid! Going to be very difficult trying to walk methinks Don't need to go out until this afternoon, so hopeful that we will have a mini-thaw of sorts by then!
