Cool but bright sunshine here.

On reflection my National Service was a governmentment paid holiday with visits to the Isle of Man, Canada and then Germany. Because I had Scroll of Honour with the Navigation School my CO was instructed to persuade me to sign on. Unfortunately this was limited to a Short Service commision and the prospect of having to come back to some sort of civvie career after eight years it never looked like a proper option.

Well, there has been a noticeable absence of jokes in my email from El Kapitan for quite some time, so I thought I'd better come on and see what's up.

After reading a few posts about Ted's lengthy computer woes, I see he's now taken permanent leave. I do hope he's doing OK.

I think that Tony AKA old sage is keeping a brotherly eye on
El Kapitan . Just one of Teds troubles was that he lost all of his email addresses Like you I'm hoping he is otherwise Okay.
