morning All
----------------------------------------Still stood waiting with baited breath for crumbs from the Kaptains table  Perhaps he's over whelmed with the bright lights of Northampton-shire after leaving the rural quite along the Swale. Is he about to make an appearance at the Tory conference in Brum give a keymark speech offering to form a coalition with the Edwardian's being the lead party . The manifesto points being, cheaper dog food, Free Merling for pensioners on Mondays Immediate doubling of OAP Banning of male cyclist's in lycra, Prohibition of wearing baseball caps with peak at back, Confiscate mobile phones surgically remove from young people in the street or on public transport & thats just for starters ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by densnaps at Oct 10, 2012 8:11:23 AM] |

Sadly, though I've tried to persuade him to stay, our illustrious leader has decided to take leave of us!  He has his reasons, he is struggling with more than just his computer! he wishes you all well and hopes that you'll understand. On a personal note; I hope to remain crunching with you untill the last one leaving puts the light out, I just hope together we can keep the forum going a little longer! Damn, what a shame. We have been together on the same team since 2001 in the old UD days!
 I have asked WCG to transfer the Captaincy over so at least we can control the team. Initially to me but once we have it I can transfer it to whoever you wish.  |

Very sorry to get the news about Teds departure
----------------------------------------We are only here today due to his efforts following the move after the closure of the UD site in April 2007. Have Always looked forward to his varied posts Even if it was just a Monday Morning Merling report, The advice his lady Quack gave him to keep the twinkle in his eye. His trips to Whitby for Fish and chips , Tales of the village fete and winning the tombola prize of a crate of twelve year old Malt. Not sure if that was a crate Cod liver oil & malt Tho. The unveiling of the pump on the village green. Tales from class room listening to the kiddies reading or a whinge about how thin the pension pot had to be spread. I observe that he is still listed as a member along with several others that do not post now and haven't for some years along with retired members that clutter up the stats page confusing me . The Free Dc stats page only record's current members but unless the member retires the page still lists them this shows that we have only one third of our membership returning results 10/33 I dont suppose it matters too much as long we have a few crunching away  ---------------------------------------- [Edit 4 times, last edit by densnaps at Oct 10, 2012 3:05:11 PM] |
