Hi Chris,
----------------------------------------Are you FoggyJon ? That's the only member I can see in the 'Yorkshire Bandits' team at the mo. I wondered what part of our great county you hail from ? I'm from the Holderness in East Yorkshire near Spurn Point. I'm guessing you are the Founder, I wondered if The Bandits wanted any company ? I did briefly crunch for your team, quite a time ago but moved to the Boinc@Hull team as I thought there would be more interaction between members. Not so. Now I'm looking for a Team to join and somewhere to invite others to come on board and crunch. Tell me what you think. Yours James [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 12, 2009 7:25:00 AM] |

I too am in Yorkshire, unfortunatly I already have a successful team (The Edwardians) that have been together for the past eight years, first at Grid Org and now at WCG, so wont be able to join you. However Good luck to you and more power to your elbow!

I realise this team/thread has been dormant for a while, but joined anyway as no other Yorkshire team appears to be active.

----------------------------------------Whilst there are 790 teams identified as GB only the UK team, The Edwardians and Team Mamajuanauk are currently active in the forum. Any of the above would be happy to have you join or answer any questions you may have. UK team thread Good luck, enjoy your crunching. Welcome to the forum and to WCG. |

Cheers jonnieb,
I used to do distributed.net many many years ago but this seems a more worthwhile cause. Had a few spare (old) computers available so seemed a shame not to use them. All the best. |

Thanks Dave,
I am currently in Brighouse. That's the bit of Yorkshire with a Huddersfield postcode, Huddersfield area phone code but pays council tax to Halifax. Some would argue both councils want it. I say it's no mans land. p.s. went to Harlow Carr last year. Lovely Cafe. |
