----------------------------------------I'm originally a Farsley Kid. Mid way between Leeds and Bradford. Having a brief pause from the Hols - the weathers turned inclement. I can hear the Rifle Range when the wind is in the right direction... Sadly the Radio Mast has gone from Whitby which I've seen get struck by lightening while I was playing in the Bandstand by the Harbour. There's just the 3 blocks of concrete left. Also the Fylingdales Golf Balls have been replaced with a 3 sided pyramid! The closest I got to the Golf Balls was while walking the Lyke Wake Walk way back  Yep that is motion blur  This is one of 2 strange places in Yorkshire. The other being Menwith Hill just down the road from me (I've been 10pin Bowling in there!!) which can be made out in this pic (I know that sky is too blue for Yorkshire)  They're about a mile behind the Wind Turbine for reference Here's a more picturesque scene - Whitby on Tuesday. You can just make out the top of the Bandstand below the Gull through the Bridge.Here's another one.
