Re: Yorkshire bandits Recruiting Now

Well I have just passed the first anniversary of joining WCG.
Happy birthday for last week.
Next milestone 1st June, by which time I will have overtaken you David. Took me rather a long time!

Greetings from Land of Roadworks and Re-Surfacing and great gaggles of Cyclists blocking the roads like never before.

I'll be glad when Stage 2 has completed in http://letour.yorkshire.com/

and we can get back to normal

That's Ingleborough you can see peeking between the piers of Ribblehead Viaduct

I love Yorkshire, we have a unique take on things

Not 100 yards from this picturesque scene from my home town

This has been there in all its glory, like this, for at least a week

I love Yorkshire biggrin

Re: Yorkshire bandits Recruiting Now

it's in a v shape as it's alongside the road that goes over the bridge

the best thing..

the other billboard is also mod'ed with an equal amount of TLC

that's dedication for you

If a job's worth doing properly.....

Anyone passing Holmfirth for the Tour de Yorkshire consider calling in at the wrinkled stocking tearooms. Not just for tourists, they do really good cakes.

Yorkshire's Eiffel Tower

Ours is 21 feet taller or about 6.4 metres in new money

On the day I visited you could get an Ice Cream in the viewing area just off the road shock

Re: Yorkshire bandits Recruiting Now

Well the Peleton will be (west) riding over some of the freshest tarmac in the world.

They are still cutting up my route to work. On my way to Pool I will have some of the silkiest and swoopiest freshly steamrolled tarmacadam known to man.

It would be as flat as billiard table if this wasn't Yorkshire smile

http://www.strayfm.com/ "The radio station that loves big French cycling events Oh là là" - you can't beat Nick Hancock at breakfast. Have a listen.
