Abort any tasks that aren't making progress. Aborted E000129_665A_000l3700h_0 as 0% CPU time both on BOINC 6.2.28 and XP Windows Task Manager (same problem following both BOINC restart and full PC restart). This is a known problem with BOINC 6.4.5. Don't use BOINC 6.4.5 - we don't recommend it. We offer BOINC 6.2.28 instead. Thanks for the info

Abort any tasks that aren't making progress. how to abort tasks if i do not have access to that pc? i can do that on pcs on my etwork, not on some which are away. |

Why WCG is not sending the remote cancel message to abort these hanging batches on clients is a sure mystery. Devices with CEP jobs sitting on 0:00 will not time out until an amount of wallclock time has passed. Is it deadline, 2 weeks, 3 weeks before the automatic passing? Set and forget volunteers would mostly appreciate that step.

One WU aborted this AM, no progress after 4 hours. One more in the que, will watch closely - now that I'm awake.

Abort any tasks that aren't making progress. Hi all, I'm using BOINC v6.4.5 on Vista 32bit Intel E8500 (duel core) and just had to abort several CEP WU's. No news there I here you cry but I thought the messages that came with it were odd.
