Re: WU says it is running, but ...

This doesn't seem to depend on the client version. Rebooting and resetting the project didn't help in my case either.
Most annoying that this kind of WU will prevent the computer from receiving "normal" WUs until the user takes appropriate action (i.e. aborts this "lazy" WU).

Re: WU says it is running, but ...

Set up a new device with HCC and TCEP and large buffer. Got 8 HCC and 8 TCEP tasks. The Energy jobs would not run as was reported before. Let them start one by one and after sitting at 0.00 CPU time, aborted them. Did update to force upload and looked in the Result Status pages. The 8 HCC are listed, but no trace of the 8 TCEP jobs. Where are they coming from? The old IP 129.33.89.133 still pings, so is the old location funking in again? Pinging 198.20.8.241 gives a time-out.

All of the jobs were E000130.

Re: WU says it is running, but ...

I aborted this one because it was just sitting there:

E000126_096A_000l0u00i

When I then went to select "all projects" (I'm usually on Clean Energy) to see if I could force an alternate project to load to see if I was dealing with a Clean Energy problem or a WCG problem. Pressed update. And got E000128_476A_000l2f004_0 which is stalled just as described by everyone else. The other two jobs are merrily crunching away with 38 minutes and 28 hours (respectively) left to go. I'll be watching this thread. This post is just for information.

Re: WU says it is running, but ...

Didactylos has reported that there are apparently some bad batches out there. For the moment just abort any work unit that freezes up like this and report the work unit to this thread so the techs know which batches are giving problems.
