WUs from both slots of a core2duo-powered box. not funny! ![]() I reluctantly agree. I'm one of these relatively passive crunchers (set up machine, have a once or twice daily look that crunching is happening, and go on with my life). But I am still fond of this particular project. The variables lengths don't bother me, until now it's been trouble-free and I've gotten sufficient points. Given that points will not get me a pizza delivery or a credit at the local liquor store for a six-pack, I'm not all that motivated by points either. I just like to know that I'm contributing. So I'll just keep an eye on the forums (specifically the Official Messages) and when things are back to normal, I'll be back to working on my gold badge for Clean Energy. Eve |

Same problem here on my quadcore. 3 CEP Wu running fine, the fourth remais at 0,000% indicating that it's running, but using 0% CPU load.
BOINC client is 5.10.45 |

Thanks to Didactylos for emailing me so that we saw this sooner.
We have suspended CEP until we can figure out what is going on. If you are concerned about a workunit - abort it. I had several running on my computer that I hadn't noticed until I got the email. I have aborted them. We have also fixed the issue with project selection. That is an issue due to our monitoring not being fully in place (this should be corrected in the next couple of days). All changes that people previously made have been processed. |

This happened to me on one of my CEPs today and I eventually had to abort it. I have another one that has been running for a while now and shows 213 hours till completion. The progress bar hasn't moved. I'm going to give it some more time but may have to abort it. Jan 9 & 10 the CEPs were working fine but today something happening to cause them to start acting funny and not work correctly. Work Units (WUs) from other wcgrid projects seem to be working fine so I don't see how this could be the version (I have 6.4.5) and am running on Vista and XP. Only today did they start acting up but the other projects are working fine.

This is a known issue. Abort any CEP tasks that aren't making progress.
