Didactylos has reported that there are apparently some bad batches out there. For the moment just abort any work unit that freezes up like this and report the work unit to this thread so the techs know which batches are giving problems. ... I'm not seeing any CPU time accumulate and time to completion is not decreasing. Tried to get work from other WCG projects but haven't received any. Other projects (climateprediction.net for example) are working. Rick I have the same problem with BOINC 6.2.28. This bug occured with 5 consecutive CEP units. Currently CEP is disabled on my machines. |

another one aborted. Ran for over 2 hrs on my laptop, still showed 0 time and 0%.
World Community Grid|Restarting task E000128_592A_000l2h010_1 using cep1 version 619 Had a CEP WU on my desktop and ran without a problem in about 38 hours. |

 Hi all cruncners,Exactly the same problem than Bergie with 2 WU on a quad intel 6600. One core running for climateprediction, 1 WCG HCC OK and the last 2 ones for CEP WU's with time and % staying 0 after 2 Hours and no CPU using. I aborted. If the knowne issues of CEP are not fixed why keeping on sending them Regards from France  |

This is a known issue. Abort any CEP tasks that aren't making progress. and what to do on PCs which I cannot reach now? (not returning any work for couple of days - looks like they got stuck too). Will they fix themselves? |

honzyk, it sounds like they aren't able to upload since the server transition. You need to restart BOINC on them.
This is an unrelated issue. |

the problem is, that (as also some people above confirmed) - restart PC (incl. rest. BOINC) does not help - BOINC starts crunching again the invalid unit. Is there a way to cancel all WU in progress centrally after eg. 48hrs after CEP suspended?
