So far I have:
----------------------------------------BETA_ E000370_ 450A_ 001e97160_ 1-- balthazar Pending Validation 12/3/08 00:10:40 12/3/08 23:52:50 14.40 253.4 / 0.0 This is a Core2Quad Q6600 overclocked to 3.0 GHz on WinXp Pro SP3 w/ 3.5 GB RAM with the WCG 6.2.25 client. I'm not sure where to locate any other info you may be interested in on this WU. It did originally claim only about 5 hours to complete, but took in the neighborhood of 14, I believe. ![]() |

BETA_ E000370_ 371A_ 001e95169 returned in 15hrs.
----------------------------------------As expected returns inconclusive as required initial replication of 3, so third unit sent out (only 2 were sent out at the same time). Just posting this as noticed it is unlikely they will be able to crunch the unit (BETA_ E000370_ 371A_ 001e95169_2 by the deadline stated, in case anyone has to do anything to ensure points are allocated correctly for everyone (or to reduce future work doing this). 9.5hrs doesnt seem likely, given the same unit took 15hrs and 21hrs. |

The last one is crunching now... got in with only 6 hours estimate, has done 9:30 @ 39%, thus ~15 hours to go whilst due in 9. Anyway, I know this will cause another copy to go out at 00:06 UTC unless the distributor is stopped. As that expected extra copy will never come back before mine is complete, no risk of a "Too Late" state and need to grovel for credit, for which we do not do the testing :D

Switched off the network to capture any upload file sizes. The 6.5 hour job yesterday produced a 6.6mb result for upload (Uncompressed) and the 17.2 hour job on the quad showed 10.8mb (4 part, Uncompressed). Is this due large volumes of logged result data for testing purposes only? cheers [added: the 17.2 hour job validated alright... think my daily CPU hour report will look a little UP BETA_ E000370_ 064A_ 001e8y170_ 1-- 628290 Valid 2-12-08 22:54:35 4-12-08 09:50:05 17.19 265.7 / 257.7 ]

I can't reproduce your graphics problem. Further to this, not reproducible on the Vista/Quad but even the last test running now on the XP C2D shows this fail to appear a second time, not even the window. Did boot yesterday to reset the environment up to no avail. Maybe a driver aging issue. On HCC hovering the mouse over the graphics causes a black square to appear where the mouse is. Saw this also on the beta graphics.

f.a.o Kevin, Now a slightly different topic I/We like clarification on, though for most it wont be a topic at all. Switched off the network to capture any upload file sizes. No - this project will have large upload files. Will this project have a minimum bandwidth suggestion as AC@H did? |

Hmmm,
----------------------------------------after I stopped and restarted Boinc all my tasks starting with BETA_E000007_ restarted with 0% done although they should have some checkpoints (boinc messages were quite frequently). Is there some problem with recognizing (or writing) checkpoints? Or do they simply restart with the wrong percentage value on display? All other beta tasks were restarted from the last checkpoint.
