Checking today, I am seeing some pretty wide variation on Clean Energy wu's. CPU times for the seven valid wu's range from 3.33 hours to 18.24. All completed are valid. These are on C2D or Quad machines all running 2GHz to 2.2GHz.

Checking today, I am seeing some pretty wide variation on Clean Energy wu's. CPU times for the seven valid wu's range from 3.33 hours to 18.24. All completed are valid. These are on C2D or Quad machines all running 2GHz to 2.2GHz.

I've seen a wide range as well, Keith. For some reason, all of mine so far have been on my quad and have had from 4.58 hrs up to 27.08!

I have run 11 of these. Times were: 1.23, 4.13, 4.16, 5.71, 8.61, 9.94, 10.54, 11.84, 17.48, 20.55 and 25.84 (in hours)

All these were on the quads with both the shortest and the longest being on Gimli (the i7 920). Kinda makes you wonder. confused

It would seem to be the nature of this project. If you have a lot of CEP wu's in you queue, it could mean that your queue of work could be more that what you want or less too. Don't think that will make a big difference unless you only run CEP or run with a very small ot very large work queue,
