Hmm really? How hot do your cards get when crunching? My 260 GTX is 58 C overclocked. It's 50 C when gaming. 8800 GT - 54C crunching 9800 GT - 68-70C crunching and I had to manually set the fan speed to 80% to get it that cool. ![]() ![]() |

Do you know if GPU crunching is dependent on Shader cores only? Or does it take into account Core and Memory too? I'm trying to see how I should overclock for crunching. I believe that crunching is mainly dependent on core speeds. When I OCed my 8800gt I only got the memory to OC by about 50 mhz. Not a big enough deal to really be worth it. |

I know Folding is Shader depandant. Not sure about GPUGrid. I have my 260 GTX clocked to: 730/1460/1200 (Core/Shader/Memory) Stock is: 576/1242/1000 [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Dec 14, 2008 12:07:30 AM] |

Then I'm going to have the quad and a 260gtx. I can't beat you because you're smarter than I am and we have access to the same amount of money $0. |

Welcome about MyOnlineTeam and to WCG stonechild! Drop in and say hello!
----------------------------------------Today's problem with the validator server has in all likelihood had an adverse impact on our numbers for today (see Known Issues). However, with that fixed, that will translate into a bump for tomorrow. Overall net impact is none. We should hit 75 million in the next day or two leaving us the remaining half of the month to close in on our goal. |
