I'm a BOINC'er and I want to WCG... but someone else has my name! [RESOLVED]

Hi everyone! I really like what WCG is going after, but I am already established with the xPOD username (carry over from my United Devices days).

I am using Boincststats BAM to pull together all my stats between Einstein, Rosetta, BURP, Cosmology, etc... I want to sign up under WCG but someone else has the XPOD name... hence my login name of XPOD-USA.

Has anyone run into this before, and is there a 'friendly' way of exchanging names in WCG?

I have a lot of compute power (for one user) and I really want to promote WCG moving forward!

The name is not important long as the registered email address is identical. Because WCG is near the end of the alpha sorted projects list, your roll up in BOINCstats will show as what you have at e.g. Cosmology, thus xPOD.

Exchanging names... well we know that some have adopted "names" of others, so roll on and use xPOD-USA.

I'll give it a shot, looks like the XPOD-USA account is linking up just fine - I'll check tomorrow for some stats :)

this is working now! I just can't auto-add clients using BAM, but at least I can aggregate data on their site now! :)
