England

A message for anyone crunching for England.

Hi

I am the captain of the England team here at WCG and I am also one of the founder members of the Team England Forum.

For the last 2 years we have been building our teams to represent England across all the Boinc projects under the Team England title. As part of that objective, we now wish to merge the England and Team England (Boinc) teams.

Team England (Boinc) supports over 50 other Boinc projects and is particularly keen to assist WCG in bringing more volunteers to this project. The team is currently engaged on an exercise to improve the ranking here and will also be taking part in the team challenge, Christmas Race 2008.

Switching over is easy, just click on this link.

If you need any assistance or have any questions please come and join us on the team forum where you will also find up-to-date project and team news and a place for members to chat and exchange information and experiences about the various projects. Alternatively, you can always post your queries here or by e-mailing me via your account page.

I will be announcing, in the team description on Monday the 24th November, that the ‘England’ team is closed and that new members should instead join Team England (Boinc).

I've just dowloaded some WCG tasks for the first time in a very long time, so maybe starting a little early, but I'm in the race! biggrin

That's very true, but thanks for the welcome anyway John. I expect I'll be popping in a bit more over December for this competition. Looking forward to it biggrin
