It'll be a good week for me all next week - I'm on holiday  (Not going anywhere or doing anything particularly exciting - just using up some holidays before the end of the year.) Last time I looked it was still January ! (End of the year is a long way off yet Peter!  )Have a good weekend everyone, I am spending mine huddled up around the old oil stove, complete with heavy blanket and dripping nose...Bye eck as they say - Its darned cold outside!  |

A good afternoon all.
 Was a busy week at work and on top of that I got all kinds of random flu-like symptoms.  So I hope for a relaxing weekend, not doing much. |

Evening all
A pleasant enough day here with some sun at times, temperature creeping up towards 10 degrees at times. Strange, I find it difficult now to think of anything but Celsius when thinking of the weather. Comes of having spent 10 years in Germany I suppose. The thermometers I have are in Celsius like those stuck on the outside of the kitchen window. I do, however, remember my one winter in Winnipeg when the systems coincided at 40 below. |

Very early good morning Was here yesterday , was great Good morning JP and everyone.......... A Royal show if ever there was one JP A 'Queen' and a 'King' starring together what a great show lucky you, I'm off to see Tina Turner in April, love her to bits but would probably swap for Elton. Any promoters out there want to put on a great show get Elton and Tina to perform together you could call it 'SimplyThe Best of Queens' now that would be a show!! My favorite Elton duo was a song with George Michael called 'Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me' I'ts so powerful and moving, As for Tina her 'I Don't Wanna Fight (No More)' I think reflects her break up with Ike she sings it with such passion and feeling.
